This Saturday is the home opener! Tornado will play their first-ever Division 2 game in Kockelscheuer. Their opponent is a familiar name for long-time Tornado fans: Évry-Viry, from the suburbs of Paris. However, this time, it’s not their second team anymore we are playing against but the first.
Évry-Viry has strengthened their roster with a few players from North America. Both teams started their season with wins, as Tornado returned from Rouen with a 6-2 victory, while Évry-Viry defeated Wasquehal 6-3.
Both teams have many new players on their rosters, so the key to the evening will be which team has gelled better during the pre-season.
