This weekend, Tornado Luxembourg travels to face Dijon in what promises to be an exciting clash between two teams that recently earned promotion to the French 2nd Division. Both sides were rivals last season in Division 3, where they played in the same group, but this year, the stakes are higher as they compete at a more challenging level.

Tornado enters this match with mixed results in their opening two games of the season. After a solid start with a 6-2 victory against Rouen, the team faced a setback in their next match, falling 7-4 to a strong Evry-Viry side. Despite this, Tornado has shown they can compete at this level, and their fans are hopeful for another strong performance.

Dijon has had a difficult start to their Division 2 campaign. They have lost both of their opening games, first falling 6-0 to Orléans and then suffering a tough 4-3 overtime defeat to Wasquehal last weekend.

So far, Tornado's scoring has primarily rested on the shoulders of Latvians Greg Holodkovs and Juris Upitis. This weekend, it would be ideal for other players to join the party as well.

Both Tornado and Dijon are looking to solidify their places in the 2nd Division after their promotions, but only one team will walk away with points this weekend.
